Techem S.A.

The company Biuro Przedstawicielskie "Techem" Zygmunt Łada was founded in 1990 as one of the first private owned representative offices of Western manufacturers in Poland. At that time we represented companies like KWH Mirka (abrasives from Finland), Dunlop (tyres from the UK), ASCO (electromagnetic valves from Holland) or Rosemount (flow measuring equipment from the USA).

Time was passing and parallel to the changes in Polish economy, our company was moving from agency to sole distributorship. Dunlop, ASCO and Rosemount grew to the level which allowed them to start their own branches in our country , and at the same time our activity was widened by distribution of industrial sealings and dampening materials from British group James Walker, we started also to co-operate with another British company - CompAir Hydrovane.

Our European partners manufacture highest quality products which in connection with deep technical knowledge of Techem team, give us opportunity to supply biggest Polish and international companies in Poland, among them: PKN Orlen, Chemical Plant Police, Gdynia Shipyard, Szczecin Shipyard, International Paper Kwidzyń, FIAT Bielsko-Biała, VOLVO, furniture factories belonging to Schieder and Steinhof groups, Neoplan, Agnella, Miranda, distilleries Polmos, Agros, mills: MITTAL STEEL, Zabrze, Batory, Orzeł Biały and the others, Power Plants: Opole, Jaworzno, Turów, Bełchatów, ABB Elta, Alstom and many, many others.

In early nineties, in order to give better delivery time and service to automotive aftermarket, we decided to start our own conversion of abrasives. Not a long time later, we also started to produce wide and narrow endless belts for furniture factories which gave us significant increase in a market share.

1997 was the year when all activity was moved to newly established joint-stock company BP Techem S.A., with initial capital PLN 16.5 million. At the same time the profile of the company was changed by adding three new product lines: welcome mats, latex mattresses Dunlopillo (Germany) and safety signs kenlight® (manufactured by BP Techem S.A.).

Our company has always been open for new opportunities that is why in 2003 we introduced new product ranges : AGIP oils and greases, supplied directly by ENI corporation, and fluid handling equipment manufactured by RAASM and PIUSI. Today we offer also systems for fluid and gas analysis under the name POMEKO SYSTEMS for industry and water treatment companies. Since 2006 our high storage warehouse is available for customers in the heart of Poland, near Łódź.
